The Mountain Water decaffeination process, uses the clear, pure water from the highest mountain in Mexico, the Pico de Orizaba. This process immerses green coffee beans in water in order to extract caffeine while maintaining their original components and maintaining the elements of flavor. The Pitalito town resides in a valley at 1300 meters. It is surrounded on all sides by coffee production, nestled on the slopes of the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
