The Pure Intentions Coffee Skills Campus offers a full complement of barista training, coffee roaster training, and coffee brewing classes for enthusiasts and professionals at all levels. Our educational goal is to provide coffee professionals and enthusiasts world-class coffee educational experiences in an approachable environment.
Our courses now combine hands-on skills instruction at the Pure Intentions Coffee Skills Campus with interactive live online webinars for course content delivery and discussion.
Our 3,000 square foot coffee training space in Charlotte, North Carolina includes spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped cupping, roasting, brewing, and barista training labs.
For the safety of students and staff, we have structured several aspects of our in-person sessions to minimize COVID-19 risk. This includes smaller class sizes to allow social distancing, thorough cleaning, ventilation, and sanitizing of training spaces and equipment before, during, and after each class, providing individual accessories sets for each student's use, requiring all attendees wear a face covering or mask properly for the duration of class, and symptoms screening before admission.
We are committed to creating a welcoming learning environment for all. That's why all attendees must read and adhere to our code of conduct while in the Skills Campus.
Delivering high-quality education takes excellent instructors. Our coffee training team has dedicated years studying their crafts, earning SCA Professional certifications, learning how to pass that knowledge along to others, and traveling the country and world in the name of coffee education.
All of our courses are led by experienced Authorized Specialty Coffee Association Trainers to ensure that learners experience high program quality.

The Specialty Coffee Association Coffee Skills Program is a globally-recognized professional development program. It has been developed by the coffee industry's subject matter experts (including Pure Intentions Coffee staff), and continuously refined to reflect the ever-changing world of coffee training. That's one reason Pure Intentions Coffee is proud to offer SCA courses from Foundation thru Professional levels.
Not all SCA Coffee Skills Program courses are created equal. At Pure Intentions Coffee, we've thoughtfully developed and continuously improve all of our courses to create truly comprehensive learning experiences for students.
