Explore the width and breadth of coffee’s seed-to-cup journey in this Specialty Coffee Association course. This class is ideal for coffee professionals and enthusiasts alike to learn more about our favorite beverage.
We’ll learn how to critically taste coffee and then follow along from the farm where it is grown, through processing, roasting, preparation, and finally drinking, discussing how each step of this journey impacts the cup. Students will also calibrate their palates to the basic tastes, taste the impact of coffee species on the finished cup, and practice two important skills for coffee professionals: cupping and brewing.
