Coffee Skills Campus - COVID-19 Course Policies

Additional Policies for classes during COVID-19 re-opening

In-person classes at the Pure Intentions Coffee Skills Campus will be scheduled and held in compliance with guidelines for Mecklenburg County and the State of North Carolina in place at the time class is conducted.

Attendees who are at high risk for serious complications due to COVID-19 are encouraged to discuss remote-learning options for courses.

Attendees who fail to follow the following guidelines may be removed from class at the instructor’s sole discretion without refund.

Pre-Admission Screening

All attendees will be required to review a symptoms screening checklist upon arrival. Attendees who exhibit symptoms of COVID-19, have had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, or have been advised to self-isolate will not be admitted to the Skills Campus.

Attendees that observe any symptoms prior to their arrival should contact course instructor to discuss rescheduling for a future session.

Healthy Hygiene Practices

All attendees must bring a face covering or mask and wear it properly for the duration of class. Masks will not be provided and students that don’t have one will not be admitted.

Immediately upon campus admission and after all breaks attendees must visit the nearest hand washing station and wash their hands according to CDC guidelines and before touching any campus surface. Gloves are not required to be worn during training.

Cleaning and Sanitation

All student areas will be thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ventilated before, during, and after each class. Students will be assigned a set of accessories for their personal use during class.

Social Distancing

Classroom and hands-on activity areas have been arranged to allow attendees and staff to maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet at all times.
